I think it’s an acronym, so I’m going with “word” classification-wise. If all else fails you can always call it a lexeme or an exclamation or an utterance etc. And I’m glad SOMEBODY kind of liked my strepsils comic, because I was beginning to think it was a bit too random even for people like you ;p You can make your own inference from that.
