Hey V,

Doing some Anthropology studying (i.e:cramming) for tomorrow and stumbled across this in my notes.

“Initiation rituals
• Occur in some cultural groups to mark “coming of age”
• Often involve enduring suffering
• Varying time-spans
• Males are more likely to have a long initiation period (Huh, I wish!)
• Do not necessarily give full adult status”

Naturally I thought of you.

I know what you mean about the class. My tutor was good, my lecturer was great, the essay not so good (2000 words later and the subject is never MORE interesting), but Anthro was just not for me.

Oh well. Uni will be finished for the year as of tomorrow, so that’s something.
